Markéta Fassati: "As a long-time patron and ambassador of the Food Bank for Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, I firmly believe that health, human relationships, education, and food are the most valuable assets we have. I consider it crucial not only to learn how to use nature’s gifts efficiently to prevent waste but also to ensure balance—so that there is no senseless surplus in one place while others face shortages. This belief motivates me to spread this message further.

Over the years that I have been familiar with the food bank’s operations, I have witnessed its tremendous development and ability to adapt to the needs of the times—from expanding its support to include material donations such as clothing and toys for children to providing excellent catering services. I greatly appreciate that they employ outstanding chefs and other workers, many of whom were once clients themselves. This demonstrates how much this organization fosters real change and dignity.

Thanks to my long-standing friendship with Director Věra Doušová, whose work is truly admirable, it is an honor for me to be part of this important project."
